Why Commission Instead of Buy

Nothing here is off a shelf

Made exclusively for you

Every commission is cut and stitched only after you approve the design — nothing is pulled from stock.

Generational artisans

Your piece passes through hands that have practised Kantha stitching for four generations.

Fabric you choose

Cotton, tussar silk, or muslin — sourced to match the piece you are imagining.

Worldwide delivery

We ship to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and India with tracked, insured courier.

Direct from the artisan

No middlemen — your payment goes straight to the artisan family who made your piece.

Frequently Asked

Is there a minimum order quantity?

No minimum for individual commissions. Boutique and wholesale orders typically start at 20–25 pieces per style.

How long does production take?

Most single-piece commissions take 3–5 weeks from advance payment, depending on the complexity of the stitching. Bulk orders are quoted individually.

How is pricing decided?

Pricing depends on fabric, size, and the density of hand-stitching. You will receive a full quotation before paying anything.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes — we regularly ship to the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and across India with tracked courier.

What fabric options are available?

Cotton, tussar silk, and muslin are most common. Let us know if you have a specific fabric in mind.

Can I send my own design?

Yes — share a sketch, photo, or Pinterest reference and our artisans will adapt it to hand-stitched Kantha work.

Can I customise the colours?

Yes, colours are chosen with you during the consultation stage.

Do you take bulk or wholesale orders?

Yes, for boutiques, retailers, and resellers. Mention estimated quantity in your enquiry for a wholesale quotation.

What is your return policy on custom pieces?

Because every piece is made to order, custom commissions are not eligible for returns unless there is a genuine manufacturing defect. See our Refund Policy for details.

What are the payment terms?

50% advance to begin production, and the balance once your piece is complete and you have approved photos of the finished work.
