About this piece
Lata Pata means 'vines and leaves'. This long ivory jacket is embroidered with Nakshi selai — climbing green-and-orange vines that run the full length of the front. It turns a simple kurta-pajama into a festive outfit for weddings, Durga Puja and Poila Baishakh.
